Dear list Got the sand blasting cabinet working. Using Skat Magic Grit. Vennting it outside, using a squirrel cage blower. Everything seems to work well. Now what can I and what can't I blast? Carbs?

what the heck is skat magic grit? the only media i'd use is glass beads. anything else will mar up any aluminum you are going to blast and leave it with an incredibly porous finish. as for stuff like

I blast everything except plastic and chrome. Gennys, starter, master cylinders. But you have to take them all the way apart and do each piece seperatly. I even powder coated a master cylinder or 2 b

Powder coating the radiator might be a disaster. I tried to powder coat a small engine gas tank. Oven temp was 390, and the solder melted out of the seams. I wouldn't have thought it would get that h
