I agree. But will it hold true on a radiator where paint may actually reduce the surface area on the cooling fins where the paint might fill the joints of the fins? Paul OROC BTW, Time to do somethi

My local radiator shop recommended the holding the spray can at an angle when spraying the radiator fins. This will effectively color the top of the fins but not the bottom, allowing better cooling.

You did'nt specify what kind of V6 motor. I have a 83 pontiac V6 motor. Is that what you are running? We took this approach on the 70 1600 that is running the V-6. The radiator is
