On a 1970 1600 there are a couple of hoses leading from the smog pump to two fittings, one on each arm of the intake manifold. Is it better to simply plug them, or to fit a bridging hose? Also, what

I used a 65 amp alt from a 73 chevy pickup. It was clocked at 12 o'clock. If you get a 70 impala unit it will fit, but it is clocked at 3 o'clock which makes it hard to plug the wites into. I put min

Yes, I put a cheapie (~$14) voltmeter under the dash. I spliced the + side of the voltmeter to the white w/blue wire on the ignition switch. I spliced in the light with a gauge light so I can see it
