bad. Could be a short-circuit sensor or a grounded wire as well as a stuck gauge. Disconnecting the wire from the sensor, then from the back of the gauge, will tell you which. But if it is stuck on 1

I have the dual gauge, sorry I didn't specify. I know about Nisonger, they rebuilt a tach for me several years ago. Mo-Ma is a new name for me though. I used to have a spare gauge, but I gave it away
