Perhaps because the Moss tonneaus lack a flap under the zipper -- also allowing the metal teeth to rub against the dash pad. I stuff a folded bandana between the zipper and the dash pad to protect it

Thats interesting. My TR4 tonneau from Moss did not leak for two years, but did today when I washed the Beast today. Oh by the way, it leaked along the center zipper, not much. Not too concerned at t
