No need to remove that pinion nut, unless you want bigger troubles (thereby making tomorrow worse). Time for a slide hammer. A rentable item. I don't recall if you have wire wheels or not. I've done

That might work, but I'd be worried about mangling the hub or bearing in the process. through the holes, nuts between the flanges and tighten them in an alternating pattern and push the axle out... c
