I have a nice little Craftsman socket set, the one in the gray carry around cases. This case stores the 1/4" & 3/8" ratchet on the top side under s removable panel and everything else in the bottom.

I use HD zip-lok bags for like items (metric wrenches, extensions, etc.) cuts down on the noise, and the bags can be found in most any kitchen. -- ____________________________________________________

I'd try just lining the entire top area of the tool box with foam rubber. Use some spray adheasive to hold it in place. Any upholstery or auto-upholstery shop. You could even try a hardware store. Yo

Try any old piece of bubble wrap. It comes in various "gauges" and can easily be changed when dirty or damaged. (and your earlier question for rusty tools) - dunk them in Naval Jelly or metal prep (
