Now I know why I kept that old roof rack ... It'll better than resting the top (rear clip points) on two bits of wood and leaning the thing against the wall.

I wasn't planning to put skis in the racks, just use them for lifting. Mount the first rack somewhere near the front, and the second would go part, or most of the way down the back window. The gutter
