I obtained another toploader transmission but I am not really sure what I have. I measured the one in my Tiger and it is the original HEH-E tranny and the tail-shaft section to the edge of the yoke

The easiest way to tell if the toploader is a "wide ratio" is to remove the top and examine the input gear. In the wide ratio transmission, this input gear is smaller in diameter than the syncro port

Ok guys, According to the toploader ID chart on David Kees website, www.4speedtoploaders.com, the ID tag HEH-M is from a 1964 Falcon, 289-2V, wide ratio. Bruce McGuire
