- This is a good question, but a hard one to answer. The more you tighten these nuts, the more you will compress your newly installed rubber pads, possibly damaging them. I don't know if a torque spec

- Curiouser and curiouser. I just went through the manuals on Midgets I have (3) and none of them give a torque spec for the U-bolts. As a WAG (Wild A** Guess), I'd say 50-60 ft/lbs. Rick Morrison 72
