- Larry, In deference to the Spit, I would recommend getting a 2-wheel tilt-bed car trailer. It will relieve you of any worry regarding something going wrong. Anytime the drive wheels are on the ground

- Most cars with manual transmissions can be flat towed (drive wheels on the ground) without damage as long as the car is in neutral. The only exceptions I've heard of have been 4 wheel drives. Somebod
