I am going to go get my car (finally!) next week. I am renting a U-Haul Car Transporter (Thanks to Tom Long--I'm renting in Memphis and continuing on to OK and then finishing up in Bowling Green, KY.

When I dragged my TR4 home, I used a piece of chain (3/8+) to span the space between the bumper mounting brackets. I also had a lot of muscular help (and eventually a winch) to pull it up my driveway

I just towed my spit home on a U-haul Auto transport about a month ago. Actually its a lot harder to control when its empty. With no load every little bump in the road was yanking my explorer. Also I

Besure to call the Uhaul folks in Memphis directly before you leave. Confirm who will be there(get a name) and what time. The first time I tried this trick the folks on the Uhaul 800 number said the
