- Scott. I just did the same job and the advice I was given was "if you pull your trans, always replace the clutch plate, throwout bearing and pilot bearing." They are cheap compared to having to pull

- I don't know what else you should look for. The carbon face on a new release bearing, AP # HD3303Q, projects .200" from the base. At .180" I would say that it is questionable. Dave Russell
