I am planning on putting a 5 speed 2000 tranny in my 1600. Is this a straight swap (other than cutting a hole in the tunnel)anything else that needs to be changed? ___________________________________

I don't think the head bolts are single-use, otherwise you wouldn't be able to retorque the head. The ROD bolts, however, are single-use (even though I've reused them in the past - no more). -- Gordo
