The must check item is the cluster gear shaft and bearings. After the oil is drained and the trans is pulled roll it over and pull the bottom plate and the front cover. Those two gaskets are still a

Whether or not the countergear shaft and bearings look fine replace them. They don't last all that long. Trust me on that. Iinspect your countergear if the bearings were worn as the countergears are
