- Anyone know of a good product or technique to remove tree sap from a new paint Normal washing doesn't touch it although you can remove it with your fingernail. This is all very discouraging! See you

- You could try Goo Gone, available in most Grand Auto stores. I've had pretty good luck with that, or you could try straight car wash soap, leave in on for a minute then wash off. That has worked for

- Kerosene (Paraffin for UK) is terrific for road tar and doesn't harm paint at all. It is worth a try on the tree sap. Mike paint thinner paint

- I've used a product called Clay Magic that works great on tree sap, over spray anything on the surface of the paint. It is actually clay that you rub on the surface of the paint with a special lubric

- Suprisingly, peanut butter (the regular, not the low fat stuff and I recommend creamy over crunchy) works very well to remove almost all sticky stuff and then cleans up with soapy water. Didn't belie
