The axle used on standard Triumph Dolomites was based on the Morris Marina (badged Austin Marina in the US) axle. The differential units were all interchangeable with various high and low ratios. TR7

The drive shafts are equal length, however I think the Pinion flange is slightly offset from the centre line of the vehicle to enable the equal length drive shafts. Offset would be somewhere around
