A 370 cid "C" or a 431 cid "B" big block are not to hard to build and actualy cheeper in the long run than any small block that will take big HP numbers. But a 305 cid BB would really be trick. John

Well there are two ways you can do this. Start with a 366 truck engine (plenty out there) bore it .030" and have a 371 cid BB when your done...it's easy. Or take a 427 or 454 block (standard bore) an

A few year's back when the NHRA had pound's per cubic inch rule in Pro Stock some racer's would use a 409 crank to make up a 368" BB. Thanks Randy
