Good morning lists: What would cause the left and right turn signals to bling at significantly different intervals? Left is much faster than the right. The hazard light seems to be working properly,

Strictly speaking, of course, I don't know whether or not one is too slow, or the other is too fast, or both. But I have no additional accessories, such as fog lights. Regards, Charles '74 Midget '68

Mine are displaying the same syndrome. Looking at the taillight, it is obvious that there is some kind of short, since the left brake light flashes feebly in sync with the slow left turn signal. Both

Only those lamps loading the flasher unit will influence the speed of So fog lights are not involved. Cheers, Hans '71 BGT --Original Message-- From: Charles D. Sorkin [mailto:cdsorkin@ix.netcom.com]

The cause may be in one of the involved lamp units providing (poor) ground supply. Some electrical cicuits provide separate ground per lamp other circuit rely on the ground supplied by the lamp hous

Fog lights (and any other electrical load) cannot be entirely removed from the slow flasher equation since any electrical load on the system, particularly at idle, will tend to reduce system voltage
