Look at Joe Law's twin turboed Lakester. With "C" & "B" engines he's keeping up with the "A" & "AA" guys. I believe he's run a shade over 330 MPH with the "C". Guess after your ride you'll be saving

In the 70s I bought 2 Covair turbos from scrap sources. Paid $19 for one and $50 for the other. We made muffler molly manifolds and bolted them on the side of a 270 GMC. Sucked thru a 800 Holly. Had

Along those lines my buddy Jerry Szuter had a 2 liter pinto in his Sprgit with a Corvair turbo Weber side draft 40 MM I think. and Pinto automatic. Drove it everywhere for 2 years until he sold it. S

That setup is what Gary Aikers had on the Lingenfelter 350 cubic inch engine in the Firebird that went 296 on gas...he used nitrous to cool the intercoolers. None of the NO2 was burned with the fuel
