Outlook Express ate my mail so I lost the original contact. So, to whoever replied with the tyre pressures 25F and 30R for 185/60 x 14, thanks very much, it's spot-on. Dave Hill David Hill/Psychomot

Ughh! 25lbs front... or am I misreading this... the rims would almost be on the ground at this low pressure for 60 profiles? Well, not really but I won't take mine below 30 (and more likely have them

My mistake, I meant 28 lb/sq. in. at the front. At that, the rims are well off the ground but I'm willing to experiment, if higher pressures work. At stock pressures, the tyres are bulgy, and the st

Ahh, 28/30, that would be me. In retrospect you may want to bump those up by 2 psi each for the 60 profile, I'm using 70 profile. It's good for you :) I did have to trade in my new 13" motolita wheel

Can anyone butt in? I am using 28 fr/31 r. This seems to give the proper differential f/r. I used to use higher pressures because I liked the "quick turn-in" feel in the steering, but found that the

OK... if you are looking for a soft ride then maybe I am not the person to talk to. With V8 suspension and 7/8 front sway bar (soon with rear sway bar to complement:-) I am looking for handling. I en

I use 30f and 34r on 185-70R14 Cooper RST tires. This is on my 71 Roadster with 1 person (me). This does make the ride harsh and the tires do get bounced off the ground sometimes, but with this much

Why on earth would you do that? The whole point of the switch to radial from bias ply tires was that the sidewall WOULD flex, leaving the tread relatively flat on the ground around a curve! This was
