185/70-13 is the widest that will fit under a square arch wheel well. Whether or not the offset on the rims in question is right for this is trial and error. I have 185/70-13 on stock disk wheels on

IMO I would not use anything wider than 165s assuming the stock suspension is in good condition. But if you want more rubber on the road, my experience has been that there is room for 185s. Although

is your experience with 185-13, 185/70-13, or 185/60-13? Thanks for the useful info. I have a Panhard bar, slightly lower front springs and would like to run 185/60-13s on wheels that I have yet to

Phil, The "original" size was 145-13. The next step up, keeping the same outer diameter is the 165/70. This will fit with no problems from all I know (if you are using a sensible offset). The next st

Does anyone have any experience in trying to run 14 inch diameter wheels on a Sprite? I'm not interested in a wide tire, but larger diameter to lower rpm on highway. Terry H 66 Sprite
