Dear fellow sufferers (if you have the same problem), My latest idea (it took me awhile) where these bad vibes that shake my Midget at 30mph might come from is that the U-joints might be dead or stif

First of all, this "mg-owner@triumph..." address you used, does it work? I always use: "mgs@autox.team.net" and that works fine. Anyway, thanks for the information that I had heard, but (dunno why)

AGUStin, That vibration is almost certainly the U-joints. I have a '78 Midget and recently replaced the U-joints and don't remember it being that much hassle. I just removed the drive shaft. I did i

You've checked your wheels and tyres already? Well, for working on the tranny, you have to remove it. The drive shaft on the other hand slides right out... You just need to unbolt it back at the diff
