Indeed, and I have figured it out that I need a third, which I also have in my pictures. The block is cooled seperately by the big hoses up front, but this connection seems to be used to "dump" water

That part of my block has no easy provision for a petcock though, it's rather defined as a hose fitting. Perhaps somebody else can shed light on theirs being a hose fitting as well? Maybe it's a '75
