Hi Guy, I believe the Datsun 210 was called the Sunny on your side of the pond. The years would be 1979 to 1982. There were both 4-speeds and 5-speeds in these cars. The 5-speed from the earlier cars

Guy, that is correct. I am from Germany and don't think I have ever seen the car in Europe. It's a 78-81 Datsun 210. It is a little, pretty ugly, cheap car. They also made coupes and station wagons.

The Datsun (or Nissan for you in the UK) that you need is a 210. There are only three years that work '79, '80, and '81. However, the '79 is not quite as desirable for two reasons. First, reverse is

Paul I am using the original metal shifter cover. I heated up the Datsun shifter with a propane torch, bent it a bit here and there, and it fits the metal shift boot. I am using an MGB accordian type

Hi Guy, The Datsun 210 that the tranny comes from in the States is actually a B310 according to all the dealer parts books. Be careful you don't get this mixed up with the F310 which is a front drive
