The white stinky smoke and the lack of water makes me wonder if you have a head gasket blown. Check the oil for presence of water. Maybe the list has other ideas or might expand on this one. --David

White smoke may be water/coolant. Is it steam, does it disapate quickly. You can smell coolant burning. If it hangs around like a fog, it may be oil. I thin 90 % of your problems are 7 year old gas.
