You can also get a version of the LED lights that fit right into the 1157 socket from autozone (look in the ricerocket section) I converted all of the brake and running lights over the LED's really

On the Bugeye, the brake bulb doesn't point directly back, like on the turn indicator lamps. Those LED 1157 that you are mentioning would work quite well with the Mk II Sprites and on though........

I routinely get the horn and finger from SUV drivers as I slow down to make a left turn, with the blinkers on and working. They can't see them over their 10 foot high hoods when following so closely,
