- As well, change the oil on a more frequent basis and that will prevent damage from particulate as well. you could likely run with oiled cheese-cloths zip tied in place...

- I thought about that, and wondered just how much restriction there would be through a thin sheet of semi-porous paper. Couldn't be any worse than a regular air filter with much thicker material. BTW,
