Someone is selling a blank VIN Data plate on eBay. Is this legal? Is it an original blank or reproduction? I don't want it, but I thought that a warning might be necessary to the List. Rodney

My E-type has a repro plate, and the original is in the safety deposit box. This is what everyone does in that community. Of course, they don't have to worry about somebody who converted an XJS or so

It is heresy and blasphemy to do such a thing with my Brand X car. It's just not done, unless there's some cataclysmic event that destroys the VIN tag and not the rest of the car. Rodney
