The click-adjust will only work if you have no hangups in the adjusters. Any little burr or junk in the threads and it will mis-adjust. Sounds like you aren't full trusting it anyway, if you had the

I'd stick to the cold adjustment as hot varies more and there is more likelihood of oil running down the head and block. Paul's comment about adjusters 'hanging-up' has me confused. I've never used o
