- Hi list, I have a few leaks to take care of. One the leaks is on the side of the valve cover. Before valve adjustment It didn't leak so I wonder if over tightening causes the same problem as with the

- Your gasket may be betting old... I think it would be hard to over tighten that gasket since the valve cover has those rubber grommets. You may want to consider using a little silicone when you assem

- Get a new gasket. Assure that your valve cover is perfectly flat on the bottom. Use Permatex #2 when reassmbling. You don't have to tighten it much. Elliott DeGraff 2 71Bs
