Hi Jay There are 2 diameters and 3 lengths on passenger car tire stems. Any decent tire shop will have something to fit the rims. The internal piece is the same on all, bicycles included! Paul A Jay

Not quite right. There are 2 different valve stems for bicycles. I don't remember the name but the serious cyclists have something else available due to the very high pressures they run compared to
