Once again the 'B (79/80 MGB LE) is starting to run rough at idle although it does fine at higher speeds. All this after I was just thinking how nice she was behaving since we'd been to visit Lawrie'

Well, carbs rarely go wrong unless you have a fuel blockage or a vacumn leak (Throttle body wear etc). Does it idle roughly after it's initially warmed up, or is it only idling roughly say after a d

Our old saying is that carburetor is a french word for "leave it alone". Most times suspected carb problems are actually due to some other sub-system in the car, such as valve lash, timing, ignition

I'll change the fuel filter today... but if I'm using Chevron's Supreme (with Techron) do I still need to use an additive? I'd been away from CA gas (with MTBE) for a few days when the problem reappe
