go to the dmv they have a computer that you can search for what you want on your plate like MGB70 it will tell you if its taken or available. I think it takes 60 days but they give you a temporary t

New Jersey's the same. I believe you have to pay a fee every year for the plate though. Another thing, if you ever have been charged with DWI or other major offense, they will not let you have one. <

When discussing Ohio, remember that all rule can be discarded should the authorities chose to do so. * How much longer does it take to to get vanity plates? I have been told "about 30 days longer".
