Thanks David, I figured as much, I'll be emailing the tech guys to make sure. My problem is that true vintage blowers like the Shorrock and Marshal units are getting very pricey, and very worn out. B

Aron, I think you may be right about the drive belt. I also think that if the blower is of a design that was available then it should be acceptable, but after reading all the logs after the '06 rules

Aron, your choice of cog belt is a wise decision. Back in the 60/70's we used v belts, 2 or 3 at a time to run blowers. The challenge was finding belts that were of identical dimensions. More trouble

If you ran separate idler pulleys, it seems like you wouldn't need to have exactly the same dimension belts. I haven't tried this but it seems logical-- maybe someone else has tried individual idler
