- I am making my own panel kit for my '59 Sprite. I have cut the new panels and vinyl, but am not sure what type of adhesive will work to glue the vinyl down to the smooth surface of the panel board.

- Hi Tim, I've had good success with the 3M Super 77, but I've always used it at a decent temperature. IE: like 65 degrees and above. Another one that works well is the 3M 08088 General Trim Adhesive.

- use the 3M stuff! either you did not have enough on the 2 surfaces or the temperature was too low for it to tack up prior to assembly. i used it on my car over 10 years ago and no problem. i used it
