- This engine is installed in the GTP model Pontiac Grand Prixs at the General Plant where I work. The engine is set up to be transversely mounted for front wheel drive using an automatic transmission.

- Sorry, I thought that the only supercharged 3.8s were in front wheel drive applications and that rear drive 3.8s were either normally aspirated or were turbocharged. Kevin

- You're correct. The Buick Grand National is Turbo/Rear wd normally mounted. The Grand Prix GTPs are all FWD, transverse mounted SCs. Get a GN motor in an MG and oh my....since it makes that big coupe
