After you get the wheels and tires VERY clean, brush on some sort of liquid dishwashing soap on the parts that you do not want to paint. Resist the urge to paint before the soap is really dry!! Spray

..another method.... lay an appropriately sized piecs of cardboard on the wheel. use a hammer to dent the cardboard by tapping on the rim all the way around then simply cut out on the 'dented' line P

Alot of people use the Moss silver. John Twist uses '75 Ford Granada silver but that 's probably not easy to get. I have used the Moss and it was fine but this year I used the Eastwood detail silver
