It's been awhile since I worried about this, but since I've got everything apart now... Which direction are the wipers SUPPOSED to go on a bugeye? Mine are at rest with both outboard, and they swing

Huh? You're right--it's not correct!! I assume you mean the right side gear box as there is only one wiper motor to the car. I can only guess that somehow one of the boxes was replaced by one that is

Sounds like one of your gear cases is mounted 180 degrees out. If you can see (or feel) up under the cowl, check for the cable housing on each gear box. It should be on the same side on each box. If

Both wiber blades "park" in the direction of the steering wheel. In other words, if you have a left hand drive car, the wipers should both be on the left when they are off. Vice-versa for right hand
