Chris, the original dash is burled walnut, does not have a door on the cubby hole, does not match the small piece below the steering wheel, and the plywood backing was of the thin multilayer plywood

Larry, I had heard that the dash was Burled Elm, Not Walnut. Is my information completely wrong? I am refering to a Tiger II. James Barrett Tiger II 351C and others

My very original MK IA has burled maple not walnut and still has the original cracks in the finish! It looks just like the dashes I've seen on late MK IA and MK II. The steering wheel is walnut and
