- Not to change the subject, but can you replace the actual shaft for the shifter without pulling the transmission? Sorry...I have never pulled one before and the DPO cut the shaft in half and secured

- If I was going to hack saw that lever, I'd thread a nut or a die on first to act as a guide, and to clear the threads after cutting. Probably remove the lever and chuck it in a vise. I was interested
