Hello DLancer7676, try this.. it should work.. (in theory.. .... has anyone else tried this.. ?) take a candle or a block of parafin.. and rub the zipper! it should coat the metal and fill the holes

Or possibly the silicone spray that is used on wet suit zippers. No Ed, it does NOT keep the water out of your wet suit!!!!
