- All the Buick V8, V6 & Rover water pumps exit to the passenger side. Best pump is for the Buick 300, as it has more capacity than the 215 & has a better angle to the outlet. NAPA 5050 is a good start

- Whether this helps or not I don't know, but the factory V8 rad inlet is top left (facing forwards) and the outlet (0i.e. pump inlet) is bottom right i.e diagonally opposite. Wouldn't a cross-flow rad

- For what it's worth, it looks like the shape of the facotry V-8 radiator is "identical" to the 77-80 radiator. It looks like all they did was flip it around, and solder the fittings on the new side f

- James: I'm on a crusade to change our collective thinking about Rubber bumper MGBs and the Factory MGB GT V8s. The 1977-80 four cylinder MGBs had modified V8 radiators, not the other way around. Man

- Cost. They only got them when the V8 body shells were used for 4-cylinder cars because the radiator was moved significantly forward i.e. away from the engine fan. There is room to carry a small child
