On the T series cars the temp sensor location is in the header tank of the radiator. On the MGA - , it is located AHEAD of the thermostat in the head. Thus on T series cars the temperature is of the

That's a good point... and a silly design feature. Who cares what the temperature of the coolant is in the radiator? Not to mention that if the coolant level were low, it might be measuring air temp
