I was pretty certain that CVAR Group 4 allowed 1.5"'s over the PCS but I checked the web page and you are correct. It must be new for 2002. in manufacturers data. I have a 72 PCS and it lists 4", so

I think Harold is wrong. According to the Moss catalog, only the 2s and early 3s (up to TS13046) had 4" rims. I believe mine (TS35879) originally had 4 1/2" rims. If I'm allowed 1" over, then 5 1/2"

I believe that the early TR-2's and TR-3's had a 4" steel wheel and a 4.5" wire wheel which allowed you to go to 5.5" ( not then but later on) I ran the wires even with breaking spokes all the time b

The TR2's and TR3's have had 42inch wide steel wheels, it should also given cars with 3.5" inch wide steel wheels in the early time (TR2). The early wire wheels were 4"inch wide wheels with 48 spokes
