- I noticed that the horn in my MGA seems to work well while the motor is running. If the motor is not running but the ignition is turned on, the horn relay seems to click but the horn does not sound.

- I'd wager your battery ain't as hot as you think. It may just be that your horn button is getting dirty with carbon but your grounds and electrical connections may not be as keen as you might think.

- I'm not so convinced it's the battery. The internal contacts in the horn may be a bit corroded, so it's probably just on the hairy edge of working correctly, but needs the extra juice of the generato
