- I was wondering if anyone knows if the plastic tube from the gauge to the welder on a mig has to be made out of some special material or can I just go to my local Home Depot and purchase some tubing?

- I'm pretty sure you can use regular tubing. Argon is inert nodble gas so shouldn't react. Rob
