Thanks Derf, Since I had two cowls here I decided to do surgery on the less pretty one with my sawzall and grinder to allow the cowl to move forward and down. After the surgery I have now have 1 1/16

That is what I did, too, but no matter how I did it, it still compromised water flow to some degree because the angle in the hose is supposed to be tighter than 90*, so I considered it a temporary f
