Did you torque the head, or the shop???, What was the torque value, and what lubercant was used on the studs for torquing? I'm pretty sure none of the head studs on my 1275 went through to the water

Hi Rich, The 948 engine has some head studs that are threaded all the way into the water jacket in the block. I think you're supposed to put some silicone sealant on the stud threads before installin
