Zerk fittings come in a number of different sizes. If you can undo the one that is in the Ujoint, take it on down to Napa and get one that will fit better. That's got to be easier than reversing the

Well, as a matter of fact (blush), I put one in backwards once, grrrr. Since it was my car I just put in a short Zerk fitting. Made it harder to get the grease gun on it but I was afraid the long one

Hi Paul: Actually I did try the short nipple from the old unit, but I found that it was so close to the fork ear, that I couldn't get my grease gun on it. I took the new U-joints with the long nipple
